Why can't I use hints or check cells in Extreme mode?

Extreme mode is designed to be solved with pure deduction — no safety net. Hints, Check Cell, Check Puzzle, and Reveal Cell are intentionally disabled. The 3-strike mistake limit is always on in Extreme. If you want hints, play on Hard or below.

My statistics disappeared

Statistics are stored locally on your device. If you uninstalled and reinstalled the app, they will be reset. You can also manually reset them via Settings → Statistics → Reset All Statistics. There is currently no cloud sync (coming in v1.1).

The Daily Challenge shows as already completed

Each daily puzzle can only be counted once per day. If you see it marked complete, you already solved it today — tap the card to view your completed board. A new puzzle will appear tomorrow.

Game Center leaderboard isn't showing my score

Make sure you are signed in to Game Center in your device's Settings app. If Game Center is unavailable, scores are not submitted for that session. Your personal best is always saved locally regardless.

How do I undo multiple moves at once?

Tap Undo repeatedly, or use Auto Pencil (the wand icon) which places all candidates in one action — undoing it removes them all at once. On iPad with a hardware keyboard, Cmd-Z undoes one step at a time.

Can I print a puzzle?

Yes — tap the menu in the top-right corner of any active game and choose Print Puzzle. This exports a PDF with the current grid and Numzles branding.

Does the app have ads or in-app purchases?

The app does not contain any advertising. See the App Store listing for current pricing and purchase options.
